Job Description:
Utilizes basic nursing assessment skills for ongoing assessment and observation of the residents, to ensure the residents remain at their optimum level of health. To accurately carry out all orders prescribed by the physician, ensuring that all meds and equipment are available in a timely manner. Dispenses and records all medications accurately and according to policy and procedures of the home. Supervises and directs all nursing care for the nursing unit, including informing and ensuring that all Certified Nursing Assistants are adequately informed of their residents' needs. Acts as a role model for all personnel in a leadership capacity.
