Smith Senior Living Trustee since 2012
“Dignity and respect amid very inviting surroundings are what attract residents to Smith retirement communities,” observes Dr. Anne Schaible. “I recently referred a neighbor who broke her wrist to the Green Leaf Rehab program at Smith Village. She’s still thanking me for the care and the camaraderie she experienced while recuperating there.”
According to the physician, a lifelong Beverly resident, Smith Village makes it possible for people to remain part of the fabric of the community. “When it is time to move from homes that have gotten too large for them, Smith communities make it possible for older adults to stay involved in the neighborhoods where they raised their families.”
Dr. Schaible is active in the private practice of obstetrics and gynecology at both Little Company of Mary Hospital and Advocate Christ Medical Center. She has been caring for patients in the area for 25 years. She is an active volunteer in many community organizations and the proud mother of three grown sons.
Anne Schaible received her bachelor’s degree, with honors, from the University of Chicago. She completed her residency training in OB/GYN at the University of Chicago Hospitals after earning her medical degree from Rush Medical College.
