Smith Cross­ing res­i­dents in Orland Park are hav­ing an Olympics com­pe­ti­tion to cel­e­brate the games start­ing this July.

ORLAND PARK, IL — Halfway through the week means halfway through the games! Res­i­dents at Smith Cross­ing in Orland Park are hav­ing an Olympics com­pe­ti­tion in antic­i­pa­tion of the games, which will kick off next month. This week, Patch will be shar­ing the ​“pho­to of the day” pro­vid­ed by Smith Crossing.

Wednes­day

Res­i­dents at Smith Cross­ing con­tin­ue their Olympic-inspired com­pe­ti­tions — with shuf­fle­board and javelin at the Orland Park con­tin­u­ing care retire­ment com­mu­ni­ty. Res­i­dents also went head-to-head for an Olympic triv­ia com­pe­ti­tion. The games offer a way to have fun while get­ting in step with health and fit­ness regimes. This cam­pus-wide event cel­e­brates Smith Cross­ing’s reopen­ing as COVID-19 restric­tions ease, and get ready for the Tokyo Olympics.
